Old Pine Trail runs between the Bear Valley Trail and Sky Trail starting at Divide Meadow β 1.6 miles from the Bear Valley trailhead. Itβs a shady, sloped trail that can be combined with many other nearby trails to make a loop.
Loop with two beaches: Sculptured and Kelham
This 13.3 mile loop visits the scenic Woodward Valley Trail with panoramic coastal views, stops at two beaches, and returns along the most serene end of the Bear Valley Trail.
Take Bear Valley 1.6 miles to Divide Meadow and the Old Pine trailhead.
Hike up Old Pine Trail for 1.9 miles to the Sky Trail.
Go right on the Sky Trail for 0.3 miles to the Woodward Valley Trail on the left.
Take the Woodward Valley Trail for 2.0 miles to the Coast Trail.
Turn left on the Coast Trail 0.5 miles to Sculptured Beach.
Return to the Coast Trail and continue to hike south for almost 2.5 miles to Kelham Beach.
Return to the Coast Trail and continue past the Sky Trail for another 0.5 miles to the Bear Valley Trail.
Follow the Bear Valley Trail for 4.0 miles back to the visitor center.
