This is a great time of year to explore the various coastal habitats this trail passes through. We'll discuss the wonders we find along the way as we make our way to the estero to look for waterfowl and shorebirds and enjoy lunch with a waterside view of this unique estuary. Total miles: 4. Elevation change: 150’. This walk is offered in partnership with Point Reyes National Seashore. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Registration is required.

Location:Point Reyes National Seashore

Directions:Meet at the Estero Trailhead. From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn right onto Hwy 1 and go 2 miles. Follow Sir Francis Drake Blvd 8.4 mi. Turn left at the “Estero Trail” sign follow .8 miles to trailhead parking.
